Default Gundo Hack Before and After

Had the Gundo hack done on my 997.2 Carrera 4 Cabriolet. Made a video of the before and after. Happy with the results.

Now you need a centre bypass, ideally Sharwerks, to really wake her up.

I Agree, that’s next on my list. I’ll have to get a tune at that point also.

Definitely do not need a tune for a Gundo + center bypass.

I also have the fabspeed air intake. I'm getting a running rich code every once in a while that I think may be due to the the intake. I think with that extra air coming in and the freer flowing center bypass it may need some to compensate.

You have these done on your car? Would be good to get some feedback before I pull the trigger.

I had the Gundo hack and Sharkwerks bypass installed on my old C2S. Ran perfectly fine. I would uninstall the Fabspeed intake ASAP. Provides literally no performance benefit, and in fact you will lose a bit of power due to the heat soak in the engine.

Very nice, I did the centre muffler delete first which sounded a little less than yours after the gundo. After, I did the Gundo and have what I was looking for. I am considering a CAI now just to complete the IN and OUT stage 1 mod

Default Gundo

I did the CAI first , lived with that for a few months. It definitely changed the sound but still didn't sound awesome. Then I added 2" Gundo, sound was ok, but a bit like a broken muffler and sound a little to "boxed In". Then I added the Billy Boat center muffler. The DFI engines are hard to get great sound out of but adding the BB definitely made a huge difference with the Gundo and CAI. I added the softronic ECU too after this....I think it's a nice overall package and finally sounds like a sports car, fellow rennlister" gasongasoff did an awesome expirement with the CAI and definitely proved it added power ...

Way better sounding with Gundo mod. Way to go!
Remove Carbon Fiber Fabspeed intake? But it looks so nice! Tough decision.

Thanks! I love the look of the CAI and with it alone I noticed a better sound and believe it or not an increase in performance.

Please like and subscribe to the channel if you liked it. I just started posting videos of the stuff I’ve done to the car. About to upload one of the wrap I did.

The Billy Boat is not an actual muffler per se. They are outflow pipes for the two remaining mufflers after the third middle muffler has been removed.
