What is the calibration procedure? Doable without a computer?

Turn the ignition on for 60 seconds, then off for 5 seconds, then back on for 15 seconds.

Is that position 2, or engine running for the ON portions?
TIA

If you leave the window down, you can hear it making noises as its calibrating itself.

Anyone have issues with this?
Never happened with mine, 2009 S, and I did it a few times.... lifted the butterfly..... no issues at all... I have a Durametric and it never threw a code.

Peace

Does anyone know if it does an automatic calibration when you disconnect then reconnect the battery? The reason I ask is I hear different noises when I reconnect the battery. Just seems like things are resetting.

This was something that never occurred to me but I got an expensive lesson in it this week. "Check Engine" came on intermittently for a couple days then the engine stalled completely at a red light. Stalled 4 or 5 more times on my way home so I parked it, got an appointment to check it out and found the TB was all sooty. The dealership recommended I check the TB with the air filters regularly due to the dusty environment here in Colorado. Now I know.
