Default Defective Outside Temperature Gauge

The digital gauge that reads outside air temperature works well until outside temperatures exceed 90 degrees; at which time the digital reading jumps to about 140 degrees. I'm assuming that I have a defective temperature sensor.

What is the location of the sensor? And, how difficult is it to change out the sensor?

IIRC, it's a black pointy thing in your passenger side front air intake.

We answered your question yesterday. This is your third post on the same topic.

My apologies for the redundant listings. I reposted the same topic when I did not see my original posting show up on the 997 thread. I reposted twice more with the same results.

Finally, today, all three postings appeared.

As you will note, I have posted to Rennlist hundreds of times and only had trouble this one time. I have no explanation for why the topic did not post.
