The MOST module is only does L and R and doesn't have fader control (Front Rear balance).
If you just do LF and RF or RF and RR, then you will only be sending in Fronts (lose bass and lower stuff) or Rear (lose tweeter and vocal stuff I guess) signals.

Wiring LF and RR from HU to MOST module will mean that you will get LF in the left speakers and RR in the right speakers.
It is almost like your left speakers become the fronts and the right speakers become the rear.

The faults should go away on their own I think. I would check the voltage that the battery puts out and see if it needs to be recharged.

The battery is fine. Audio quality and level(s) are fine with the LR and RF connections, but I am now getting ABS and PSM errors on the dash, and my brake lights no longer work.
I had the shop double check connections, and everything appears to be secure, nothing is pinched, etc.

I'm at a loss- any suggestions? Is there another module that's required, in addition to the Seicane MOST adapter?

Were the fuses messed around with when tapping for switched power for the HU/modules? The fuse panel cover should tell you which fuse corresponds to ABS etc.
Or you can find the details online as well. I would try that.

All fuses and connections are bueno. Going to bring it to my indy shop tomorrow to have them run some diagnostics, and hopefully get some answers.

Appreciate the replies, thanks.

Just an update here (I updated my original post asking for help also). I didn't double-check the fuses myself, and accepted that the shop had checked, as they said they checked all fuses and electrical connections.
Turns out, the fuse had been removed for some reason. Inserted a 10A fuse back into the correct socket, and everything has returned to normal. Everything works as intended.

Thanks all for the help and suggestions!

I was looking at Alpine ILX-W650 from Crutchfield. The package included the unit, all wiring harness and surround unit for about $650. Any comments? This retains the Bose and I do not have steering wheel controls.

Overall, I am satisfied with the results. My biggest disappointment is in android auto. It is very limited in features, buggy with it's safety features, and the UI is very inefficient with screen space.
And for some reason, the radio clock is running slow... wtf? Maybe there's a software update.
What Sony unit is that (model # or PN)? Thanks; looks great.

Its either the xav 100 or 200 series. We have one in our Hummer H3. Fantastic head unit.
Can't tell which it is in the pic but the 100 series is radio plus media only.
200 series includes dvd player.

To pv355, the latest firmware update is from May of this year. Planning on doing ours this weekend. In regards to the clock, make sure the RDS setting is turned off for the clock

I just had the iLX-W650 installed in my car. Same setup as yours- Bose, no steering wheel controls. I actually ended up going with one of the inexpense Chinese MOST/Fiber adapters, rather than the Axxess unit offered by Crutchfield.

The sound quality is fantastic, the sound shaping/control features are good, especially at this price point. I had picked this unit over the Sony (which has a volume ****) because of the swipe features on the Alpine. Unfortunately, the swipe features do not work when you're using Android Auto.

There are a couple of minor annoyances. The screen is a fingerprint magnet, so if you're OCD like me, it may drive you crazy.
There is no splitscreen function, so to switch back and forth between say Waze and your Sirius/XM tuner to change stations is a multi-step process. A split screen so you can change channels on your tuner or tracks while you navigate would be a huge bonus.
There is only one USB cable, and no other media/SD card slot- so if you're running Android Auto, you cannot listen to music off a USB drive.
Radio reception is not as good as the OEM radio, even with the antenna connected to a power lead.
You don't have the ability to change the startup/splash screen (like the Porsche logo) - which is just a software limitation, as their higher end units allow for more customization. Hell, the Sony units in the same price range allow you to select custom backgrounds and colours.

Looks great, the screen is nice and responive, the BT audio quality is quite good (although, after a few minutes on the phone, if the phone is connected, I start to get a lot of static- if you disconnect the cable to the phone and use just BT, the audio returns to crystal clear).

For the money, it's a pretty good value. It's not perfect, but it's pretty good.

Thanks Adamo for the quick response. I have used Crutchfield in my last Porsche and although the wiring harness is expensive, it is super easy to install and one stop shopping. Will wait for other to chime in............

The link that Rennlist "auto provided" or maybe it was an ad.. pointed me to https://www.crutchfield.com/S-qE6bJJ...content=z_7614

The HU is listed for $295 there, and it also includes the ReadyHarness add-on that should make things easier.
Even then, $350 is a lot for just the MOST module and a couple of harness adapters and fiber optic patch cables and a dash frame.
You can get all the parts in the $125 ballpark and do the install yourself.

Anyone have a full parts list?

I ordered this decoder and I’m not sure what else I need.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07J463FM7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07J463FM7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Is this the only/correct harness needed?

I also ordered this antenna adapter
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000329HEK/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000329HEK/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
and this dash kit

Thanks in advance -Kevin

Wrong. It doesn’t list the harness. Just that he got it from Crutchfield and paid them extra to wire it. Crutchfield has this listed if you have Bose for $350 https://www.crutchfield.com/p_120PO9...Interface.html
And this harness if you don’t have Bose https://www.crutchfield.com/p_120701...g-Harness.html
the $100 decoders from China don’t come with the harness/harnesses and there is definitely more wiring that comes with the $350 kit than getting the $100 decoder and Metra 70-1784 harness. I know some of that is the steering wheel wiring adapter but not all of the extra stuff is just for that.

As shyamvenky said, “You can get all the parts in the $125 ballpark and do the install yourself”
So once again, what parts? Does anyone know what harness/harness are needed to go with the $100 decoders?
