Default low tire pressure warning

My display is showing "Low Tire Pressure" in the left front tire as being
-5
— — . The other three tires indicate OK.
When I go to the TPMS to see the tire pressures I get:
29 30
36 36
I checked the front tires and got the same readings (29 & 30 psi) as the TPMS display.
Is this a bad TMS or something else? I have not reset the (Fault code) warning, but wanted to know if the Forum had any comments
FYI, the car has a year left on its CPO—if a bad TPMS, would this be covered?
Also, the tire looks OK. No obvious punctures

had the same thing. Look for the thread I started about two weeks ago.

By by the way, as a follow-up to that thread, I sent off three gauges to be calibrated. The lab is in Pittsburgh

forgot to add: tires are Michelin Pilot Sports
F: 235/35 ZR19
R: 305/30 ZR19

Pressures measured when cold (sitting in garage for 12 hours at 70°F). Indicator cam on yesterday after stopping for 30 minutes (giving blood—and if you're not a blood donor, why not?)

The tpms has high and low thresholds. Unfortunately they are not adjustable (that I know of). The factory specs are 34-36F and 44R. 29 is below what the computer thinks is an acceptable level and will give you a warning. Setting your tires to 18 inch summer gives you a little lower threshold value.

I think your options are get a tire that running within spec feels right or disable your tpms.

increased tire pressures to 33/37 cold. That cleared the TPM warning light. Thanks for the suggestions.
