People on slickdeals have said their Amazon purchases worked. I buy from Walmart and it usually works like a charm but never wanted to risk buying from Amazon because if my Walmart receipts got rejected I could at least return them in-store.

But you're right about the death of B&Ms. Between Google Express and Amazon Now, my girlfriend doesn't even like "going to the store" anymore. Oh how I miss roaming aimlessly around Target.

I bought Motul when Amazon had a misprinted offering. It was supposed to be a 5qt jug for $24.99 I believe. But in the listing they printed "case of 4". So i ordered and order and kept receiving a case of 4 5qt. jugs for $24.99 with free delivery because I'm Amazon prime. At the end When I ordered 3 cases they sent single jugs. When I called them saying the listing was for 4 jugs I was refunded 100% and told to keep the 3 jugs as they could not be shipped back because they were hazardous material. In the end I got 23 jugs, or 115 quarts for $125.00 or $1.09 per qt. Lots of cheap oil changes in my future. My Mercedes SUV uses the same oil too!

I purchased at Walmart. I get the 5qt jugs. I bought two of them about a week apart. The first rebate went thru but the second one I got a rejection email two days later. They said I didn't send a pic of the receipt and I know I did, I double checked. Of course no way to dispute it, so I'll just submit again. Such is life.

Since I only change the oil once a year I buy it from the dealership. Funny I had a ticking noise and the first thing the dealership asked was what oil do you use. Ended up to be the belt tensioner

How is there no tax? Amazon charges tax now, or maybe it's only if there's a DC in your state.
