Hi, guys. Does anyone know of upgrade options for LED headlight bulbs on a 997.1? The reason is that I like having daytime running lights on when I drive, but I don't like the idea of burning halogen lamps all the time.

Why don't you consider using LED lights for the front turn signals, they come with DRL and you can configure them to run as such using the Durametric tool.

Or you can use the 2 cents hack on the light switch. The HOME position will give you DRL.

Thought I'd give an update. I have done the DRL hack above with the factory fog lights. I think this is much better than running the headlights + rear tail lights in the DRL mode thru the PCM.
