Default 997 Gen 2 Side Muffler hardware needed

Has anyone done a side muffler delete and still has the hardware that mounted them? Converting from side muffler delete to rear muffler delete (so reinstalling the side mufflers) and cant find the original hardware from a few years ago. Dealer wants almost $1000 for some simple brackets and some washers. Thanks.

What parts are you referring to?

I don't recall any separate hardware. The muffler attaches to the Cat and the Center muffler and the part with that swivel looking bracket is part of the muffler.

All that just requires some nuts and bolts.

On Gen 2 the side mufflers has 2 sort of tubes on side. A brillo padish washer (#19 qnty 8) goes in top and bottom of each tube. A bracket then attaches to each tube (#17 qty 4). that bracket then connects to another bracket (#9 left and a right qnty 2 left and 2 right) that then attaches to muffler bracket coming of side of engine, or to the front collector. $1000 seems ridiculous for those parts.

#19 and #17 should be attached to any side mufflers you buy used.

Why isn't #9 still on your car, do you have aftermarket cats? If you are missing that what is your Porsche Cat attached to?

All parts were removed by a previous shop. #17 is $89 each times 4. # 24 is $200 a side. #9 is $59 times 4. The fluffy washers are $11 each times 8. Used DFI mufflers are hard to find and none have had any hardware.

Cat is just attached to center muffler.

I believe it on the pricing. Did you try Sunset Porsche? Or a rec junk yard? Or are those already the lowest prices.

I did the gundo hack, but before I did that, I bought a set of used DFI side mufflers for $125 total which includes #17. I'm sure some mufflers will pop up online. If I sell my car, I'll have a set of mufflers for sale...
