Find a good Indy. I paid $800 for install, 10 hrs. Bought the gt2 clutch kit and new dmf off of rock auto.com for $900.

I have a couple of couple of local porsche shops with good reputations. I was quoted 1275 for labor. I'm not looking for the cheapest, i just want the job done correctly at a fair price. My guess is that I'll keep the car a year or so then find a new toy. He says he usually replaces the rear main seal while doing the job(labor is separate for this), but didn't mention doing much else. Slave cylinder being done as well.
