Anything around $45k would be a great deal. Cabs are worth a bit more than coupes.

I agree with ~$45k being a great deal, though.

looks like a really nice car - any records of the clutch master and slave cylinder being replaced or the accumulator? if not plan on replacing them.
Just about any 996 turbo with low miles in the price range is going to need something it may not present in a PPI - I love the wheels but I prefer the stock size for ride quality
fair deal at 45K Great deal at 41-43K cabs are cheaper than coups

$5k in repairs and maintenance catch-up sounds right, but higher if you have a P dealer do it all for you. Nothing unexpected, these cars were $120+k new so see if you can negotiate in spoiler repair and alternator, the rest will probably be on you but still a fair deal.

The highest priced cars in the prestige thread are Cabs. Hagerty Valuation says the same thing. Cabs are worth a bit more. They built less Cabs thus they are rarer. The numbers are what the numbers are. Will the valuations always be this way? Who knows, but they are that way now.

And Tips are worth more than manuals in Europe and China.

car looks nice but underside has lots of pitting from being exposed to salt. no need to drop engine to change plugs and fluids, did dealer mention coil packs should be changed? do you know about coolant fittings issue and pinning or welding? get driving already!

The spoiler hydraulic system can be rebuilt for around 800. ck with Marios hydraulics in Fl. or go with the E-ram kit. Doubt the dealer is dropping the motor for plugs/coils for 1500.

Wheels are Chinese knock-offs, not HRE. Worth bupkis.

But the PPI is good - those are fairly trivial things (as has been said 6X before).

Do the wheels not look stock size? I can't really tell...

Car wasn't exposed to salt ever - except in the air I suppose? It's only lived in CA and then NC.

I'm really wavering I guess... As I've said in my other thread I'm worried that the coupe will rocket up in value more than a cab will in the long run. It just seems that with Porsche, more than any other brand, that coupes are more coveted. In most other car companies, if the top goes down the price goes up!
