Tamper proof torx wrench size for MAF screws
Anyone have the size. Looks like they take a tamper proof wrench.
Thanks in advance. |

Yes I have many torx bits just not a tamper proof one. Thanks very much

T25 5 point. Not your typical 6 point torx.
|
Hmm, I used this T20 on mine:
Based on my success w/ the above and all of the DIY's I read, my understanding is that it's a 6-point tamper proof T20 (ie., https://rennlist.com/forums/996-1998...k1-996-c4.html). |

well, that set has security bits from t8 to t40 so you're more than covered for ~$20.
|
Harbor freight also has that kit if you have one close.
|
My mistake. The boxster uses a t25 5 star tamper but, the TT ones use a t20 6 star tamper proof torx.
|
^+1, silly Boxster's....

So the TT is the odd one out lol

Autozone sells the specific pentalobe bit, about $7. They (997tt) are all 5 point pentalobe.
