Either battery dead, bad connection or bad ground.

How did you open the door? Did the window drop when you opened the door? Did the interior lights come on? Any signs of electrical power at the dash?

If no signs of electrical power at all a dead (really really dead) battery has to be at the top of the list.

You will have to fish the emergency front trunk lid pull cable out and use that to open the front trunk lid to get at the battery. Do not recall the details as to where this is and how to get to it. The owners manual should cover this though.

The fuse box has a power lug that pulls out to attach a charger to to get the trunk open in case of dead battery.

Put a voltmeter on th charger terminals of the fuse box, see what you get.

That is true but sometimes if the battery is really bad doesn't work. 'course, I was remiss in not mentioning this first and it was good of you to mention it. And here's hoping it does work for the OP.

The window not dropped and i needed to close the door gently in order not to smash it.

btw, what kind of "charger" could be used
a car battery with cable? (If wrong, is there a danger of blowing the circuit/ cpu)
thx

Anything that puts out 12V and enough amps should be fine. I have read reports of this circuit working even when there is no battery installed in the car.

Fixed by replacing the nearly 2 years old battery

alternator works well at 13.x V and the problem may be due to my car cam(forgot to turn off)

how long did your battery last? 3 yrs?

That's probably not a good idea. Use the fuse box to open the frunk, then jump start the car directly from the battery.

I have gotten that usage form several brands. Never any OEM.

The battery you just replaced might not have been totally dead. It might have been saved with a proper re-charging.
