They may be the same horsepower but the 996 has much more torque,which is a the real measure of engine output.

I test drove one before purchasing my TT. The TT (X50) definitely pulled harder that the C4S. I wasn't impressed with the 7 speed either. You need to be at 80 mph + before going into 7.

Yes, I'd take a PDK over a seven speed manual.

The Pontiac Aztek of the 911s? Low blow.

Also, the torque #s are significantly different in my opinion (and in our favor), esp. since the cars are within 100lbs of each.]

Didn't look like neck and neck even to me...

I'm originally from Europe, atleast they don't compare it to the Fiat Multipla, a car that I saw all too often there. To me that is THE prime example of a failure headlight design.

So what is wrong with that? Use 6 gears below 80 and the 7th while above. Nice to have options.
