Do you wave or give a thumbs up to other Porsche drivers?

Same here in Colorado. I've been driving Porsches since 1967 (yikes! that's 50 years!), and it seems that this has become an old-school thing. 911's/356's were relatively rare then, and we always made this greeting, everywhere; a double-flash seemed to be the standard.

In the 996tt I wave but not to suvs or panamericas (I used to but I never got a wave back so I stopped). I usually get a wave back every other time.
In the '74 I also get waves from miatas, corvettes and pretty much every other topless car, maybe one in four motorcycles and the occasional cyclist.

If they even look your way! I look to the driver, but they are mostly absorbed. Or maybe they don't want to acknowledge a 996TT?
LOL. You know what they say about Porsches and porcupines...
Mostly same here!
I've thought about waving, but usually there's so little time to react as they blow past me...

If I flash my headlights at another Porsche sports car, it is just one "flash". If I am attempting to notify oncoming traffic that law enforcement is ahead in their direction, I flash multiple times.

Have never waved at a Porsche driver. Used to wave at BMW drivers (as those are most of what I have) however the drivers of the current model rolling sofas don't respond.
Not to thread jack, but yesterday I was driving on the Interstate (not in my 996TT, in my Golf R) and just after a weigh station there was this guy who was trying to hitchhike, but instead of having his thumb out, he had his middle finger extended like he was flipping everyone the bird. This can't be a very successful strategy:-)
