Default Black Titanium lug bolt Project completed

A great source selling now on ebay- open to offers. No affiliation.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/black-TITANI...BS1xir&vxp=mtr
I just ordered a set at more than $100.00 off!!!.

These lug bolts are so light I cant believe it. Look sooooo good as they match the HRE torx bolts for the 3 piece wheels.

they look awesome. My Forgestars didn't accept stock type lugs so I ended up with tuner style (Japanese made) in black from World Products, but they're not titanium.

Have a set of these and they are nice. Make sure you grease them like the manual states. Ti will gall the aluminum over time if you don't.

I like the Torx drive for security.

Why security - just takes a t80 bit. Any thief worth their salt will have one in their toolkit.

I doubt it. Try to buy one or find one on line. No one carries a T80 size.
Even if they do its $100.00.

I searched for two days before I could locate one at a reasonable price (under $50.00).

I have a T80 and I'm not a thief. Weird.

Me too. But I do know thieves that have them. They stole them.

Like anything security-related, if someone wants it bad enough, they'll get it. It's all about a compromise of security and convenience in my book, and adding layers of security to make it inconvenient for thieves who aren't super serious. Non-standard bolts fall into that category, IMHO, but everyone's equation is different.

Sorry to hear, Carlo.

See link in post #5 above...oh, just noticed that was your post. Other vendors selling similar bolts with torx head have included a torx bit - not sure why these guys aren't Not real easy to install without the bit.
