This place has a lot to chow, plenty of bolt-on's, lube, rubber in trunk, and a prize box:

I made it a couple years ago and was the only 6t there, should make it this year again and would be great to see others too.

I'm planning to make it although the current forecast is for rain (go figure).

I went last year and was the only 6TT there lol. Pretty sure less than 15 cars total showed up, but that could have been something to do with the weather.

Opening day for Exotics at RTC is Saturday assuming it stays dry. They've postponed it twice now, but it's always a good showing there.

I put on street tires this past weekend because I want to drive my car in our mixed rain conditions here. If it keeps raining, I may just show up dirty.

The new Michelin's are no match for NT-01's on a dry street.
Nice and quiet, but large grip reduction. PSM reconnected now as they are downright loose compared to the R-comps.
With 2wd and Kevins ZC turbos on street tires there's significantly heightened awareness of the right foot

add: ..and btw. those nt01's you told me about are a great deal. but even after scrubbing well, they break loose and trigger psm more than any rears i can recall. perhaps they will settle down after another few miles. if I'm reading you correctly? you're having a similar finding as I'm also rwd.

If it's raining I will hose it off but not wash before it haha.

If the weather is dry you should come to Exotics at RTC Saturday morning.... Im getting together with some of my GT3 buddies and another with a modded 997TT and going for a cruise after (weather permitting, they cancel the RTC show if its going to rain).

The NT-01 need to be a little warm but after that are fine. I don't push them until they've been at highway speed for a couple minutes. If you're heading out of your driveway to immediately do some canyon carving they're not hot enough in the beginning to stick well. I'd drive them a few more miles, then go hit 60-100 for a few minutes and you should be fine.

It's my new Michelin PS that are slippery but they are not scrubbed much and in the rain are worth having on.

Saturday morning's are usually taken up with stuff but I'll make a couple.
I've gotten selfish about spending my car time on track or maintenance as life is busy and I have other hobbies in the summer too.

What time do you usually get there?
I assume it's at the same place by where we met up?

Look forward to catching up soon - Mark

yeah, it was mostly the psm kicking in as that's usually diminished after the tires are scrubbed. but again, was a good deal. they should last me at least 3-4k miles lol. thx again.

Hi everyone
I’m new to the site and a new owner of a 996tt. I’ll defnitely try to make it out to the show! How many cars typically show up at XXX? I remember last year where I just happen to catch a few 356s leaving the parking lot and wondering what was happening there. Now I know!
