Default Cracked tail light mount

Anyone ran into this issue before? Aside from this the rest of the assembly is flawless. Any ideas on fixing?

Yes, it's a common issue.

This is the only solution I'm aware of: http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/...ight-Saver.htm

I wish I had installed mine sooner.

You can also purchase aftermarket LED tail-lights

One of mine cracked just like yours. Lights Savers already posted solved the issue perfectly. They come in pairs. Do both sides, broken or not.

If you're handy with carbon or fiberglass and epoxy, it's an easy fix.

I have some of the lightsavers in a box if you want them.
I'm about ready to just buy some new taillights as the originals are starting to develop small hairline cracks in them vertically. Had one or two and just noticed a few more tonight while changing the oil.

Just be very careful driving if they are busted, I was too late on my 4S and it caused costly damage when it blasted off when I was on the freeway...

Got a set of light savers this week. They fit decent but required some filing to clear some of the engine lid gussets. Also had to extend the lid standoffs a little bit for clearance.

We should do a group buy. Clint, the owner of the company, is on Renntech forum. He lives in Elk Grove, CA.
