a 996tt roller is pretty much a c4s roller. You may be better off on the 996 forum assuming you dont need an engine.

The intercooler ducting. More than likely it's easier to find a roller the quarter panels for these cars. Not to mention the title difference.

That's kind of hard to answer considering all the different combination of reasons. Do you know of something for sale? I'd really like to stay away from a fire burned car. Needs to be manual.

Just personal enjoyment. I don't track. I honestly just love building them and just driving them on the street. It keeps me busy. If I'm not busy I'm going stir crazy lol

Your budget and what you are willing to spend does matter..

Do you want a crashed/clipped tub/front end?

Do you want a rear end kit, or roll over?

Are you not wanting a salvage cars?

The other option is to purchase a 200K mile turbo and part it out to get to your budget estimate.

If you have a spare engine and tranny, you sell the 200K parts and find your price point.

The non salvaged turbo roller is a Unicorn and very rare. To many folks want to turn that type of chassis into a race car/dedicated DE or PCA car.

Just for reference.. 8 years ago, I was offered a '01 160K tippy for $27K.. It was rode hard (no crash damage) >>I passed

Ya that was the one I let slip away.
Crashed to the point it just needs paneling and plastics to be replaced. I'll also consider ones that need suspension replacement as well. Salvaged or not. No fires. I've honestly never came across a 200+k car.

I'd pass as well with anything with a tip. I've driven both. I wouldn't be able to enjoy it with a auto.

Looking at what you have written.. You really don't want a roller..

If you want a minor crash car.. You'll have to bid with the big boys at the salvage auctions..

The lightly easy hit/ repaired cars are never hitting the insurance auctions.. All the bodyshop techs and Porsche shops are building them for shop cars or track cars..

FYI, my idea of a roller is a stripped car with no interior, no engine, no tranny, and limited suspension pieces.. All the glass and electronics are out of it. You might not even get a steering column.

All due respect. I would bet to say a majority people don't see a roller as that. Most Porsche rollers are due to minor accidents, drivetrain failure, fire, theft or natural disasters. A person that owns a Porsche 9/10 times is going to sell it as a whole after something catastrophic happened to it and just move on. Not make as much money off of it.
