Default ABS/PSM lights flashing

I just got new front cv boots put on my 2002 996 turbo and at highway speeds the abs psm lights just started to go off. I then noticed that after I turned off the car, the warning lights went off. Unfortunately the very next time I drove the car on the highway this very same problem occurred. Any help and or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The abs/hub sensors are very sensitive, replace and clear codes

Check the wiring harness leading to those wheel speed sensors too.

First did you light up or are they flashing as you state in your thread title? If flashing, don't drive it. These codes can mean all kinds of things...get the codes actually read with a Porsche diagnostic tool...post the codes and we can help interpret them.

Take the car back to where you had the work done. At least one ABS lead is messed up.

These are "tricky". See attached PDF...

Are there codes for flashing ABS and PSM?

The CEL wasn't flashing or lit, was it?

What do you think the ABS/PSM light is but a CEL (Check Engine Light, which refers to any of the warning lights on the dash)? So realize the ECU is constantly checking parameters on the car against specs. When the programmed limits are exceeded, a CEL may appear. The CEL can actually go away by itself if multiple re-checks prove satisfactory (often through multiple ignition cycles). Disconnecting the battery can also clear CELs. Solid CEL's are different than flashing CEL's. In any case the car will store certain codes and may or may not trip the CEL.
