This is our planned agenda for the Porsche Cars of South Atlanta Event at the Porsche Experience Center:
10:00 - 11:00 - Group Arrival - Meet & Greet in Porsche Coffee Shop
11:30 - 12:30 – Driving Simulator Competition
12:30 - 1:00 - Elective Hot Seat Rides
1:30 - 2:45 – Group Lunch at 356 Club
2:45 - 4:30 - Guided Tour of One Porsche Center.
Tour the new facility and museum including the Classic Car Gallery & Restoration Center with it’s two levels of exhibition space, reference material, workshop, lounge area and storage space. Here, you can purchase high-end storage for your own collection and park them amongst legendary classics on loan from the Porsche Museum and private collections around the world.
Individual time on the Porsche driving simulators configured to mimic the handling of a 919, 917 or a 911 RSR.
PCAR Touring group lunch at the 356 Club over looking the driver development track where if you wish you can choose from 77 different Porsches to play with. The 1.6 mile circuit is technical and tight - more akin to an auto-cross than an all out racing circuit - this most drivers will find challenging and rewarding. Besides the twists and turns, Porsche included a Kick Plate, Skid Pad, Off-Road course, Dynamic Area and a series of low friction handling curves that will widen even the most serious driver's smile., Sorry, no track drive time is included in our event, but it is still great fun to watch others experience the track from the 356 Club.
Registration is limited to 45 individuals at $59.50 per person. Slots will be taken up quickly so sign up early. Cost includes tour, simulator time, lunch at 356 Club and all taxes and gratuities.
Additionally, there is the option to sign up for "HOT SEAT" rides with a Porsche Professional Driver as the passenger in one of the Porsche High Performance Cars at $65.00 per ride. (HOT SEAT ride is limited to those weighting 80 pounds or more).
As well the Porsche retail store will be offering a 10% discount on Porsche merchandise for those of us attending this event.
This event is NOT a Porsche only event, so bring your fellow car lovers along with you to show them what a real Porsche is all about.
