Where are all the 996tt on the roads?

In Phoenix I see one or two other 996TTs a month, many different ones. EVO is here along with 2 dealerships. I rarely see them at PCA events (lots of newer Porsches) but I did go to a PCA track event last year and saw 5 996TTs.

I'm in France right now and a few days ago I saw a 996 TT parked in the lot of my hotel in Tournus (S. Burgundy). An hour later I got on the autoroute heading north and saw another one going fairly slowly in the right hand lane. Two random sightings in about an hour was surprising.

back ot. I've seen 3 or 4 996 turbos since the weekend.. and spoken with one of the owners of a speed yellow only yesterday.
plenty of them around here and there are two malibu sunday car meets. one is almost exclusively porsches, and they bring carerra gt's and 911r's.

Did the Porsche Classic Rally to Mt Evans a couple of weeks ago....Only 996TT in the crowd that I could see. I'll post some pics up when I can find that damn camera...
