Yes, this is my experience. I have had a data logger/trip logger in my Turbo and have noticed an engine start/trip start with the car just remaining stationary and with its indicated position inside the Porsche dealer service department (I can often tell which service bay so I know which tech is working on the car) and for around 15 minutes or until the engine/oil is hot enough to do a level check, but the primary reason is to do a proper drain.

Afterwards with the engine still rather hot even with fresh oil it doesn't take much run time -- this I have experienced myself after doing the oil change myself -- to be able to check the oil level to confirm it is ok.

Ok Guys- thxs.

Sunday I will take it out for a drive . I will let u all know what happened.

I hope its a ECU temp thing.

In three yrs of ownership it has never acted up.

Although, I must say its a highly modded motor, Evoms stage 3 .

Yeah make sure you don't have launch control with your tune if it's modded, mine cuts out @ 5200 rpm's can't be revved passed.
