Nice toy! Carplay in my 'other' car is pretty cool, but a heads-up display would be unbeatable.

wow Never heard of this before... looks really awesome! Especially for people who have older cars tht want the newer car tech!

You'll have to keep us updated with how well it works (or doesn't).

Also pics of it installed, because it looks pretty bulky on the dash

A little bit high, i have to raise my chair
The dailing wheel....
It is too bright...for a cloudy day
I have turned the brightness to the minimum level....

The length of the wire just fitted the dash board of 996
The wire can be hidden below the screen: there is a gap in 996
wiring not an issue for 996
Done

great idea, and concept, but the bulkiness is kind of a turn-off... if they would make the brains/module part of it separate from the projection, then it would be a much smaller package visible.
You could then store the unit in the glovebox and then the only part on the dash would be the projection / GPS.

You say it's too bright for a cloudy day... like distractingly bright? Do you use it all the time, or only occasionally?

Yes
it can be more compact

Overall ok (for pre-sale price &free delivery overseas&#128513but occasionally ( depends on the angle of outside illumination and the angle of my eyes) there is a reflection of light at the screen (just some part of the image) of navdy. Will test a different angle of inclination of the base set to see if reflection of light could be avoided.

The sticky parts (something like sucker+sticker) for fixing the base set and wiring are of high quality and will not damage the surface of the dash board when removed👍
It took me 3 weeks to install because originally, i thought the parts for wiring using 3m sticker which may leave a mark there when i need to remove them years later

+1^
I had some cupholders in a T5 wagon years ago that were positioned above and alongside the e-brake handle. If you wanted to pull up the brake you'd eject the coffee if you didn't first move it.

This looks like the type pf engineering that was not tested out in real application much before going to market.

That's... a bit of an eye sore. I like your interior color, though!
