WTB: Seal Gray Front Tow Hook Cover
This might be a long shot, but figured I'd try anyhow.
Looking for a replacement for my missing front tow hook cover. Would like to buy one pre-painted seal gray.
I know that the part itself from the factory is about $20, and comes primered, but I'm not aware of any place where I can get them already pre-painted. The paint doesn't have to necessarily match PERFECTLY.
Mostly looking for a quick and easy way out

100 something?! sorry, had no idea. I'm sure i didn't pay that for mine in arctic years ago. but who knows why they are now so expensive. i'll just have to blame it on quantitative easing lol. i'd wait too.

Or, just install the toe hook.
Could provide great reliability in some sort of "planning to fail" way?
The opposite of removing your spare only to flat soon after

You would think $100 is ridiculous, but it's really not. If you were to buy the materials to properly paint, let's say PPG color min quantity is a pint @ $70, clear coat min quantity 1 pint with hardener is $60, you are over a $100 just in materials.
Now I am sure that Eric at bumper plugs will paint other parts besides the tow hook cover in a batch run, so the costs is spread-out.
If you can get a rattle can in the exact color $20, clear coat $18, primer $14, and sand paper $2, you cost is approx $54 plus your time.
My time is worth much more than saving a few bucks. I would gladly pay Eric $100!
He does great work and will exactly match your paint color.

Have you considered a shop painting rocker panels body color and doing whatever else you want at the same time?
Obviously more $ but maybe that's easier to stomach if you're getting other stuff you'd like done.
Can always but spare console/parts and keep OE stuff too.

I will probably hold off on owning a fun car for the time being (should I end up selling it). Going to see if I can start putting together a down payment for a house perhaps. Adult-hood sucks
Just kind of reluctant to spend any more money on the car, IF indeed I will be selling it.
