GT2 size tires
Hey everyone,
I been pretty set on buying G-Force Rival S in: 245/40/18 and 315/30/18 sizes. If my calculations are correct, they is a 1.2% diameter difference between the two. Any issues I should be aware of when running 245/40 up front on a 8.5" wheel?
Other tires I'm also considering since they are offer them in 235/40 sizes are:
- P ZERO ROSSO
- AZENIS RT615K
I currently run P Zeros on my other wheels and can't say I really like them. Heard really good things about G-Force Rival S and would really prefer them even if the size is slightly different.

Three Wheelin'
Im running 245/40 and 315/30 NT01s on stock wheels. You should be fine.
Not sure if you will encounter any rubbing as I have GT2 rear liner brackets and heat shaped liners.

No issues with the 245s up front.

May rub slightly along the front liner at full lock but nothing major. I've run through three sets of rivals in these sizes and have no reason to stop, they're great.

I run the RT615K's and like them the best of GT2 sized options I've run so far...haven't had the NT-01 on mine yet and might try them next...they don't last long and 6/32's new isn't going to help lol..
I have a 996tt here with 265/30-19 up front and seems to be no rub so far

My 245's bottom out on the top of the fender liner when going over big bumps and/or fully locked over inclined driveways. This on a X73 suspension, ride height and alignment specs. It's minor but still annoying.

Thanks everyone.
Yeah, my current wheels do the same. I run 245/35-19 and 295/30-19. So with the 18" wheels/tires, the front will be .1" smaller. Should have the same or slightly less rubbing on big bumps.

I picked up the GT2 sized Pirelli PZero's this year. I love them. Traction is spot on and the only thing I gripe about (small) is that the side walls are more round than the Michelin or Toyo counter parts...negligible really.
