Anyone want to trade? Seriously...
So here's my story of coming to the Porsche side of life.
1) Took my current toy (Viper) to Lime Rock and it was the most legal fun I've ever had in any car.
2) My wife survived a fight with Breast Cancer this past 8 months and said, I know you love your car, but can we please get something with a back seat so we can do more "car stuff" as a family. I have a 9 year old daughter who is a car FANATIC, so I need a back seat now as my wife wants to do more "car stuff."
I've done my homework and really want a 996tt, modified is OK.
My current, 1997 Viper GTS is for sale but I'd be willing to do an even trade for the right 996tt.
If you want an INSANE, extremely well documented, over 650HP/700TQ Viper GTS, let me know. This is a naturally aspirated motor. No supercharger. No juice. No turbo. Heads, cam, intakes, ported TBs, fuel rails, balanced injectors, built transmission, full motor fire suppression system...and on and on. Full list of mods and photos are in the classified section as well. I'm new here, but very well known in the Viper forums and with the local Viper club.

I don't wanna trade ---I already had a Viper -- but that is one slick car you have there, good luck in your quest.

Funny I've been thinking of going to a Viper but I HIGHLY doubt my car is the one you're after.
04' cab, stick, EVOMS GT700 kit, larger intercoolers, Champion Motorsports 19" forged wheels, lowered, full exhaust, 1,000 hp clutch, couple other things I can't remember. Those things are all good things to me (and probably you judging from your Viper), but the paint is 8/10 and the interior is similar... and it has 107k miles on it.
PM me if you're at all interested but I assume you're looking for a lower mile, cleaner example.

Hope your wife is short.
I'm 6'2 and my seats all the way back. You are sitting cross legged behind me.
Even with the wife clocking in at 5'4 it's tight in the passenger side for the 9yo.

Agreed with above... my 7 year old daughter probably won't fit in the back seat when she's 10... and that's with a wife that comes in at 5'0" on a good day. Not a chance she could fit behind my seat and I'm barely 5'11".

Lucky for me, my wife is just 5'2 so not too bad. We test drove a Lotus Evora and we fit so there has to be more room in a Porsche lol! It would never be for long trips, just local events and short family drives.
The Viper is such a fantastic toy but life changes. It's amazing they let me put a plate on this thing and drive it on public roads!

sorry to hear about your wife but also glad to hear she's kickin it's ***!! And I like her style...get a car we can all enjoy!!
On another note...never realized how short so many people are my 10 year old is 5' tall already. She can sit in the back but it is a little tight I must say. I know it's not a p-car, but you should check out an RS5 or an '06 M6 V10...little more leg room to work with and still get the coupe. RS5 is auto only though but I'm sure someone could do a reliable conversion.
