just talked with the guy and it's legit. he bought it used from Porsche of Bellevue 6 years ago and is 2nd owner and put 7000 miles on it in 6 years. 2 services at porsche of bellevue says it still smells new. Someone is coming over to buy it tomorrow but it isn't sold yet.

Just curious but why are the license plates different front to rear??

I talked to the seller about 10 minutes after he posted the listing. Car is a Tiptronic unfortunately, otherwise I would already be $40,000 lighter. Did seem to be totally legit, for what it's worth.

Ya I hear ya the license plate is weird but I spoke with him and he seemed like an honest person who based his price on kbb. I'm sure someone will buy it today. I would go look at it but I'm working and 2 hours away. If it was a manual I would have taken the day off work:):)

I spoke with the local Mukilteo PD a few minutes ago and the vehicle checks ok, no issues.

Officer said plates in Washington State are changed every 7 years. He probably received a new plate after he purchased it 6 years ago and just forgot to change the front plate, odd but I guess he overlooked it.

Has to be some backstory - that price is $10-20k light for those miles.
