Default 6 piston brake set

Trolling Craiglist and came across this. Don't know anything about the seller. Buy at you own risk. But appears to be all 4 corners and complete.

Located in the SF Bay Area.

Rears are not a good match to our master cylinders (different brake bias) You really want the 996 GT3 calipers and 997tt rotors. Paging powerhound for a better explaination.

i have the exact setup on my 996tt with zero issues. 350 front /rear with 6/4 calipers. simple bolt on gt3 and 997tt calipers are the same with the exception of the taller rear rotor height

That's a good set up. Direct bolt on to 6TT with 7tt rotors. If you track the car heavily you want to get the GT3 PCCB version as it has the zircon insulators. The rear calipers have 50% bigger pistons which will shift the bias to the rear which is what the 6tt needs. The byproduct of the larger pistons will be a slightly longer pedal travel as you are moving more fluid. A fix is to use the larger 7 MC which may open up a can of worms with the 6TT psm. Decisions decisions...

And the price is ok too (assuming the description is accurate and all parts are there and in good shape). New, you'd pay more for the front calipers alone.
