I've seen this car at a local car meetup once, if it isn't then it has a twin.. The seats are the OEM seats with custom re-upholstery work.

If it all checks out and you like the car, I would make him throw in all of the OEM stuff with it rather than paying extra for it. Gather and keep as much OEM parts as you can just in case you ever want to go to stock or ever plan to re-sale.

very good advice. I suspect the mods don't add a dime to the value. If they are something you would have done, then they are of high value to you. Agree with a folder full of records since new... PS, not a fan of the back lid or wing.

Unless you plan on keeping longer term look for a nice stock example and keep it that way= easier to sell and will bring more money on average.

Everyone is talking about the mods, but you haven't said if you want this or a stock car. If you want the mods then I would research everything that has been done just like if you were going to install them yourself.

Resale aside, I think that's a gorgeous car. The black and silver combo works very well on these turbos.

Sale fell through but have my eye on a tip in chandler az at the porsche dealer. I love the color combo seal grey over boxster red. Don't see to many with that combo. It's pretty much stock but it's a tip vs manual. I love the color so much that I'm likely going to purchase. Plus the wife will get to drive it (tip)

What do you guys think of the price. Their service dept went through and gave it a clean bill of health. (Whatever that means) they also have offered a Penske bumper to bumper warranty 6200 buck 3 year 36000. He says that will cover any coolant line issues and everything else.
That would bring the total to about 49000 out the door with tax license and 3 year warranty.

? Would you guys still get another ppi done by an indy??

? Would anyone consider purchasing the extended warranty??

? What do you all think of the color combo. I love it but just wonder what people views are!!!

? I don't mind the tip but then again I do. This tip vs manual topic has been hashed and rehashed so ill leave it alone but I'm sure someone will point that out: anyway if I get bored with the tip I have my 993 manual to put a smile on my face again.

Anyway
Let me know you thoughts out there in turbo land.

not a fan of that interior color, but if you and your wife like it, get it. Full records all the way back are always a bonus. As to the tip, a bit harder to sell, and always several thousand less expensive.

At 62,000 miles and that price you are in 997tt territory. While the color is beautiful, a red interior is not as popular of an interior color as black.

No you're not. Maybe a 150k mile car, or a branded title.

This is more like it for a 7tt https://rennlist.com/forums/vehicle-...-optioned.html

I turned down a '07 manual 50K with ceramic brakes and alacantra for $59 this summer...

Needs to take his time and look...

Keep looking and get a manual unless a tip is really wanted.
