Here is my first Porsche. I bought this 2003 X50 with 52k miles 2 weeks ago in Colorado, and drove it home to Kansas City. I absolutely love the car. The car is bone stock except for the wheels (obviously). I just got myself a set of used hollow turbo twists that I are currently in the shop to be tested for trueness. Once these wheels are found true, I will mount some tires and it will be back to 100% stock. I will unload the current wheels (savini Forged Signature series wheels), and no reasonable offer will be refused.

See you guys around!

Fun fact,

When I first went and saw the car, it was sitting right in front of a 993 turbo that used to be that of nobody less than Dennis Rodman.

The rodman turbo was at my buddy's shop about 7 years ago. Looked kinda rough.

I didn't really check it out in detail, but it looked in pretty good shape now glossing it over. Maybe it was restored? The shop owner told me he pulled the tranny and motor for a reseal. The transmission was engraved with Rodman, which supposedly happened when he had it tuned by andial.

Nice car, looking good. Let me know what she thinks of the ride, my wife is not a fan: "This car is like high heels, looks great but not very practical. The suspension is so stiff it is impossible to text."

Very nice! Are you a member of our local club, KCRPCA? If not, consider it. I would love to see this car at one of our Saturday morning breakfast meetings.

Nice pickup! I like the silver painted console and backs of the front seats.

Will the 996tt be your DD, or a weekend car?

Not yet, but that is certainly going to happen.

@docboy, thanks! Yes I thought the sport seats with painted backs and center console were a really nice bonus. Somehow I really valued the porsche crest in the seat too while I was looking for cars.
The car is going to be a weekend car. Not planning on using it a ton, just when i need my porsche fix.
