I love the darker greens myself and have paid a bit more for them in the past(never let the seller know you're in love ) I think the natural brown is 10X better than sand beige or other light tans, not that I would refuse one.

I ran a few cars through Edmunds valuation tool the other day, different years and models C2 vs TTs etc. Everyone was knocked a few to several hundred $$s for a green exterior. Sad but true. I didnt think to try red/silver/black to look for a bump. Not enough to worry about but a trade-in valuation will knock every little thing they can.

My guess is that green has a negative effect on trade in value, but not private party sale value. Dealers would be happy just to buy 100% silver cars with black interiors.
