Going under the knife
This post is continuation of this post https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...the-knife.html
Original post:
"After a year of fun filled ownership, my 996tt is getting a little upgrade. It will be outfitted with a set of billet K24 turbos, 1000cc injectors, customer made intake with maf to map conversion, and a custom tune via Cobb AccessPort. This will be mated to a set of 3.5 intercoolers and Agency exhaust that are already on the car. I'm looking forward to a few more HPs. I'll be dynoing the car pre and post upgrade to highlight the comparison. Wish me luck."
The pre-install dyno pulls yielded 426hp and 474 torque.
Post install dyno revealed a couple barriers to good low. The boost hoses (with factory fitting) would blow off under boost and the exhaust appeared to be too restrictive. An AMS Y pipe has been added, which required modifying the intercooler end pipe to fit. Here are some teaser pictures for now. I expect the tuning to be complete in the next day or two.

Good clarifying question
426rwhp before this round of upgrades. 426rwhp was with an OTS APR 93 octane map, Agency exhaust, Agency divertor valve, EVOMS Intake, and 3.5" intercoolers. The upgrade with retrain the Agency divertor valves, while the exhaust and intercoolers will be massaged to improve the flow.

I've had the car back for a couple weeks now and all I can say is wow. The car was tuned on the dyno to 537 rwhp and 494 ftlb torque on 93 octane. On 100 octane it made 563 rwhp. The billet K24 turbos take some time to spool up, but once they do, hold on. Full boost kicks in at about 4k. During a hard pull the rpms stay in the power band to maintain full boost of up to 19.5 psi. Note my car is a tiptronic. The next tune will be for E85. No rush for that though since E85 is not common in my area.
I don't track the car that often, but I suspect it will run an 11.5 or better on 93 octane. I'd really like to see a low 11 or high 10 on 100 octane. It will all depend on how well I can launch the car.
