I do, but either option is still good. Run 235/315 on my dad's 6TT

The 245 is wider. That makes it better IMHO.

thx for clarifying. never been steered wrong following his advice! but i'm still ok with the 235 front. i prefer a more narrow front for these very tight roads i frequent.

i ran a 9" for a few years and even notice ( or "feel" i do! ) the difference turning in by switching to an 8.5 in front and i *think*? the 235/40 fits the oz wheel i have with a 40 ( iirc? ) offset best. or so i am told. unfortunately i have forgotten all my awd setup preferences lol.

Ha ha, says me who is currently running 996TT sized tires on the GT2 size OZ rims. But hey they seem to be fine if not a bit more directional.

You could just about run what ever you like with RWD.

Any thoughts on these vs. G Force Rival S?

They're available in a 315/30 as well, but I can't find any solid info.

Rival's had an issue with tread delamination, believe it has been resolved but, the 'S' model revision no longer meets our standard load rating, loses about 600lbs of rear load rating vs stock
Too bad as it looked promising.
I've been happy with RT615K and look forward to getting a new set...but I would love to have more options, such as the RE71R's and similar...

You were right the car feels more darty and the back end breaks free a bit easier but in a controlled way. It feels a bit more like RWD, having fun with it.

Edit; The OZ rims seem to be holding up ok.

FYI, Falken has released a compound update, tire now called the RT615K+ , should be a stickier tire in dry
Have a set on the way, first ones in at Tirerack

Interested in your review Rob. Ran the 615's for years on track cars prior to going to NT01's.

Good to hear.. These tires were getting somewhat hard to come by and I have been very happy with their performance. I'm excited to hear how the new compound compares.

How do the two compare?

I got the 615's (non +) mounted a couple of months ago.

The regular 615's tend to last a little longer and have a little less road noise IMO, once they get past about 50% tread the non K/+ seems to harden up a good bit at a loss of grip. This could just be me but had two sets do this on my Corrado. However as a sucker for dry grip, at which the NT01's are awesome.

I have another set of twists that need some tires so might get some 615+'s and try them out back to back with the fresh NT01's.

Are all of you guys running these on GT2 size wheels or stock twists? I just purchased some Yoko AD08Rs for my stock wheels so I will see how those work out. Wondering if this would be an option on the stock Twists.
