Replaced pads and rotors (textar/sebro) and now I hear a clacking noise when letting off the brake pedal. If I come to a complete stop and then let off the brakes, I can still hear the noise. Hear it when tapping brakes as well while driving. It's always when I let off the pedal. Sounds like coming from the front. Not loud, but noticeable.

Any ideas? Caliper bolts tight. Maybe it's the pads moving around? Normal?

Not normal and not good.

I fear something was mis-installed. Check front calipers, pins and retention springs right away. If those are correctly situated go deeper and pull the pads, check them and the vibration dampers. Then check to be sure the rotor is seated properly on the hub.

If at the front I would jack up the affected side and spin the wheel to get the diagnosis. Should be easy to spot but I agree you gotta take a look.

The spring clip should put pressure on the pads to keep them from ratteling in the caliper. Look at ~3:46 in this video.

Took it apart...doesn't appear to be brake pad/caliper related.

Seems more suspension and unrelated to brake/rotor replacement... Maybe the new found bite had something to do with it.

Can see the wheel 'jog' slightly when tapping brakes. Guessing it's a warn out front end bushing. Dropped it off at shop... We'll see.
