How to turn off seat memory
Is there a way to disable seat memory but still have the power seats? I think the fuse disables the power as well as the memory
thanks!

Aare you talking about the seat memory stored in each key or the seat buttons?
Why disable it? Why not program them to your liking?

thank you carlo. there seems to be something wrong with the buttons as I set the memory, but every time i unlock the car it goes to some other memory. unless, .... does the car need to be stopped to set it? I was driving, adjusting it, and then pushing M + 1 together.

Each key stores a seat position too. So when you lock-unlock the car the seat position stored in the key will override the position you set with the seat button.
If you want seat position in the key to match a position you set with a seat button start the car and press the seat position button to put the seat where you want it. Then press the lock-unlock button on the key and the M button on the seat at the same time. You will see the red LED on the center of the dash light up. That seat position is now stored in that key.

You can also turn off the key-memory feature (which I prefer, since no one else drives my car). I forget the exact buttons you hold, but it's in the owner's manual.

Storing seat position:
1. Switch the ignition on with the desired vehicle key.
2. Set the seat positions (If you wish for the passenger's mirror to swivel down as a parking aid when reversing, reverse gear must be engaged when the seat position is stored).
3. Keep memory button M depressed and additionally press the "key" icon (beside the memory button).
Clearing the stored seat position
1. Switch the ignition on with the desired vehicle key.
2. Simultaneously press and hold the "key" button and person button 2 for at least 5 seconds.

None of this works for me and it never has. My memory button works fine. When I lock the car with the button on the key, the seat doesn’t move. When I unlock the car using the button on the key, the seat moves to some random previously stored setting that was most likely set by the jolly green giant. No matter how I try to clear this and/or reset it to match the key, it doesn’t work. When I unlock the car I have to open the door and push the #1 button to get the seat to move back to my stored position.
Small rant - why does every other car I have ever owned give some sort of audible confirmation of the memory setting being programmed, and my 911 gives no indication at all? My Cayenne beeps - seems pretty simple.
Anyways - any other ideas?

i stand corrected. the instructions above have not worked for me after all.
I wold like to remove, unplug the seat memory function all together, so i think i am going to take off the door panel and just unplug it. i would take out the fuse, but i do like to adjust the seat a little here and there every once in a while.
