I figure the wheels offsets are totally wrong for that car, doesn't need fenders rolled and can go even wider.

How can people drive around with cars that rub? I can not understand that, makes me mad and it's not even my car, lol!

I was thinking the same, would be interesting to see what offset the wheels are. I would not be willing to roll the fenders on this car. I'd either get wheels that had correct offset or stick to stock wheels. Perhaps the alignment is very off or maybe there are some spacers on there that could be removed.

Ya that rub is BAD! needs corrected ASAP. I'd consider rolling the fenders like a GT2, but getting the wheels right is a potentially safer choice

Roll the fenders and a few other ghetto mods and he will have the car of his dreams.

Nothing wrong with some of the things done to the car but with his perceived persona on my part and the beat looking 5.0 stang tell me the 996t is in for a world of hurt.

Considering how well SHE seemed to know the 996tt platform and the fact that she'd owned it for A DAY pretty cool that she could get him to take it for a spin before making the cross-country road trip everyone waxes lyrical about.

I appreciated seeing the car run through the canyon for 5 minutes...even with the rubbing.

Thanks for passing on Rob.

the 5.0 is a toy, Matt's a car guy.....been around some serious car collections his whole life.......

BBi never seems to have a problem throwing matt the keys to cars to review....they also built his 5.0 for him (yes, you heard that right)

has a GT40 crate motor, IRS from a modern cobra....it'll be a fun canyon carver...not a show car.

I agree, she seemed like she did her homework. Probably all came from searches done here in this forum.

Exactly...sounds like an enthusiast to me.

Perhaps she'll join Rennlist or 6 Speed....

She would fit right in with most of the new crowd.
