Mark, I hope you don't mind ...

Here is what I'm thinking of doing, but red stripe (this one is orange)...Originally I was going to do all alcantara with red stripe but I really liked the perforated leather on my previous BMW 135i Msport wheel..I bought a spare steering wheel to have done so I won't have any down time.

..What do you guys think?

I didn't know those pad dampers were on the rear pads until I tried to remove the pads with the caliper installed like I always have with monoblock calipers. So, I ended up breaking one off the the glue separated on the other one before I realized what was going on. My front brakes didn't have the dampers and I had removed those first.

yeah, rears each need a new 28mm and 30mm each caliper. i don't know about them breaking but heat does fuse stuff, and WILL bake brake parts.. ( say that five times fast lol ) so i'm not surprised!

fronts need 2 @ 36/44mm per caliper. not worth not changing. folks say you can simply grease up the old ones. but at $9 per for the rears and $14 per for the fronts? its crazy not to replace 'em. bolts and sensors are "who cares".

(12) pieces needed total. for all four calipers, of course assuming boots and seals are also new. ( thx jared! )

This green. Should look pretty crazy.

Window tint is only 20% but it looks super dark on the silver car with picture taken inside. Outside it doesn't look crazy dark.
