New 996TT Owner from SoCal
Hi guys, I just recently purchased a bone stock 6-speed 2003 Arctic Silver 996TT with 51K miles a couple days ago and just wanted to stop by and formally say hi!
These last few months i've been lurking these pages and reading up as much as I can about the car before jumping ship, as I came from owning nothing but japanese cars for the last 11 years and was really considering an NSX. Around my neck of the woods, all my friends dreamed of buying or currently own an NSX, so I wanted to get something different and underrated, hence the search for a 996 Turbo began.
Fortunately I came across quite a few around my area so I scheduled a few appointments with the sellers. The moment I test drove the car, I immediately fell in love, and now here I am! Hopefully I can continue to learn a thing or two about this car whether it's through the forum or by driving the car and giving it the attention it deserves.
Without further ado, here's just one shot of my stock 996TT:
