Nice find, rael. That's a beautiful color. The ad says "Carmon Red", which I think they mean to say "Carmine Red". But, the car actually looks like Arena Red. Here's a Carmine Red car:

Thanks, I think I'm going to take a look at it today. I will report back if anyone is interested.

Build sheet says Carmon Red....but I really have no idea. I like the Red you posted much better.

Yep, you're correct - it is Carmon Red. I learned something new today. Carmon red and Carmine red both factory paint names - that's not tempting Murphy at all. What could possibly go wrong?

I would have guessed that was Arena Red as well...

Seeing pictures next to each other, I guess the Carmon is a bit brighter and maybe a bit more metallic? Though with color balance on images, you can kind of make them look however you want.

Carmon Red

Arena Red (From Tim Wasmer's thread)

Here's a reasonably priced, low mileage tip in the low 40's. Seems to be a lot of Seal Gray 996tts for sale right now. This one is in Tucson. No affiliation.

I saw that the other day, great specimen. It would in the stable if it had 3 pedals.

Unless there is something wrong with the car that is driving the asking price down, he is giving up money with that price.

They are a house brand at TireRack, called Sport Edition Cup 4.

Thanks, I like the way they look on that car.

Dock, you are probably right. I paid $50K for mine in April, 19K mile, Tip, new Michelins, Silver/Black in near perfect condition. Perfect visors, headlights, no cracked tail lights or plastic, no interior scratches at all. I went through all the fluids including the TIP, and I've had very little interest at $55K asking, no one has even looked at it. I'm flirting with keeping it now as I really enjoy the car. It's in getting the coolant pipes pinned and with the motor out for the first time, new plugs as they've never been changes (and of course any other item that look like they need to be replaced). I think rennlist is not a good place to advertise a 996tt TIP, and neither is Bring A Trailer. I may advertise locally when Barrett Jackson is in town in the middle of January with the thought that many car enthusiasts will be in town and I'm just down the road.
