Hey TT, not sure but as you know I have been away from PCars at times but always hit these boards. The fun and people make it. Every other board I got involved with was 1/2 of the crew here.

I've been researching and working on finding a tt deal. I've noticed a market trend. It seems like the ultra low mileage (25K miles) garage queens are going for $55K-46K. The market price then drops $3-5K for each additional 25K miles until you reach 75K miles; then you loose $10-12K for the next 25K miles.
I wonder if it would be a better strategy to buy into a garage queen and then plan on selling it before you reach 75K miles?
Currently, I'm looking at 2: The first is the one I previously posted on from Colorado with 25K miles. The second is more local to me: https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/invent...ting=184281020
What are your opinions on these two?

if you absolutely love it, or if it’s more of a stepping stone.
These engines are really strong and have been known
to last a really long time, and if you love it then the little
short term sell gains you get will be easily reversed by
either future market fluctuations or enjoyment.
I for one LOVE my 996TT it’s got nearly 160k miles and
because it was over 125k when I bought it, I got it for a great
deal. I’ve driven newer versions and I actually like the 996
better. To me it’s more mechanical feeling then newer models.
People often malign the interior, but honestly I think the interior
on the 996 is better than the 997 gen. I also actually enjoy it
more now that I have the GT4 for comparison. It’s such a
fun and useable car that I’d like a 996TT Cab for the summer,
but im out of garage space :/

what does everyone think is going rate for a 2002 6 speed Turbo Silver/Metropol with factory Aero kit. No x50. 38k miles with service history.
I have an idea in my head but want to validate that.

Yes, Polar is bluer and generally more desirable. $48k is a good price.

They're a good buy though, esp with the warranty they're offering.
