ok, last one.... http://www.stevenscreekporsche.com/d...-14124230.html
drove this one, but it's pretty beat up & worn. the dealer has done it no favors by skipping a thorough detail... door pockets filled with lint, the motor top is filthy, a ton of pebbles/sand in the radiator area. a ton of hood chips, with a newly painted front bumper (no chin spoiler?) that makes the hood look even worse. door dings galore, and bad, bad sun fading on interior & brake calipers.. interior 7/10 aside from the fade.
on the plus side new clutch & tires

right? I drove it thanksgiving weekend and found it to be less than would be expected at Porsche specific dealership... some old auction stocked lot would have likely made it more fit for sale with a detail.. went back yesterday to refresh my memory of the car and found all the same lint in the door pockets!!!
they are up to their chin on money into this one with the new clutch & tires being afforded by the dealership after it was traded in. funny thing was the dealer "PPI" noted a number of flaws I touched on, but did not provide the OBD system download info... im just gunna go drive this one every couple weeks until I find my car.... haha..

one side was significantly more faded than the other, and all of the seatbelt push buttons were pink from sun fading. the dealer may have also re-dyed some of the interior leather that I did not pick up on, or consider while looking at it. traded in by an "older couple",,,, but that's always the case,, no?

that said, i would certainly BUY a cpo'd porsche. just not trust them to "inspect" it. that's best done independently of ANY seller.

because i once did? i would never again "trust" the integrity or "thoroughness" of a porsche dealerships version of a PPI. all it is, is their 200 +/- stupid "cpo" checklist which can and does leave many potentially catastrophic issues hidden for the potential new buyer. don't ask me how i know this.
