Does not sound like something the dealer would install= too involved especially if warranty work was ever needed.

Aren't K24 housings larger than K16 housings? That would be a really easy way to tell if the car doesn't have upgraded turbos.

Dealers may install the sticker, but it's vin specific printed in Stuttgart.

Yes, you have an x50, probably was ordered late. I ordered my first 997tt midnite over sea blue, a lot of blue but stunning! I added the sport shifter late in the process and it never made it to the hood sticker, but like yours was on the window sticker.

Well, I think that settles the confusion about why some X50s are not labelled on the hood sticker. It was added late in the build.
I don't think I can call my car an X50 anymore though.
I think X650 is more appropriate now
