Default 19x9.5 +36 Front Wheel and Tire Question

Looking at a set of used wheels and wanted to check if anyone has experience with this setup on the front wheels for 996TT.

19x9.5 +36 offset

Previous owner said he used 235/35 tires, but I'm concerned this may be too skinny of a tire and will look stretched on this size of a rim?

He mentioned he bought this size to run a 275/30 on a 997 GT3.

Would there any clearance/rubbing issues with this setup as well? Currently lowered ~2 inches.

I tried searching, but feels like this is not a very common setup. Thank you for the help.

I don't think they looked stretched.

These are 19s and run on 235/35 fronts. I don't know about the offset though. Lowered about 1.75 inch. No problems with clearance. I don't get any rub (with the front tires).

I would be worried about rub at 2 inches and bumps in the road, though.

Stumbled across this website http://www.tyrestretch.com/9.5-235-35-R19/

Doesn't feel like 235/35's on a 9.5 rim are an ideal setup.

Tire widths vary quite a lot between manufacturers, but a 235/35-19 tire should be approximately 235mm wide. That is 9.25". If the wheel is 9.5", the tire will be narrower than the rim, and the shorter the sidewall, the more the tires will look like they are straining to fill up the wheel. I wouldn't be running a 9.5" wheel with 235 tires, you should at least be at 245 minimum.

Anyone have experience with running a 245/35 with a 36 offset? Too wide for a lowered setup? Would like to avoid rolling fenders.

If you aren't interested in doing work to make them fit I would pass. I run 245/40 on 18x9 +33 with -2 camber with rolled fenders and modified radiator bracket. With 19s and sticking 3mm farther out on top of that it is not going to be plug and play.
