Default Switched source of power in the engine bay?

Looking for a switched source of power in the engine bay, anyone have any ideas?

I would think one of the connector/wires would work, hit and miss with test light. Not real help but how I would find one.

thanks guys - there are a few "dead" wires in the 12 wire loom to the wing/fan/light. Right now I have a ring connector under the (+) lug just left of the oil filter. Not a problem, but not switched.
