Sounds good, sometimes I wish I would have gone with the louder Speedtech 3.0 instead of the Speedtech 2.5 quiet. Since I don't daily drive the car, I think the louder exhaust would be more appealing to me.

Depending on what you have now, you may be able to increase the volume with different tips. I had the 3” quad tips in addition to adapted x51 stockers on my Speedtech 2.5, and they were quite a bit louder.

I’d recommend to talk to John about the sound differences since I never had the Speedtech ones to compare. The duals looked great IMO and filled out the exhaust cutout in the bumper better than a single pipe. Honestly a bit loud for my liking vs the stock ones on a reducer pipe. Note that my car had K24s (x50) which are louder than the standard K16s. With the dual tips it would set off car alarms in a garage.

I went from 3.0 xpipe to 2.5 quiet cause it was too loud at big throttle openings. I do daily mine though. I think maybe if it was just a weekend car I might have stayed loud just for it's awesomeness.

If anyone wants to learn more about the effect that our various tips have on the final sound qualities, just contact me and I will be happy to discuss it with you. Each tip style has a distinctly different sound quality and sound level. IMO, our SpeedTech sound engineered or SE tips have the best sound quality for our systems. I personally designed these tips on my own 996TT to work in harmony with our exhaust attributes and bring out the best sound characteristics possible.

BTW, we just built and sold a few 996TT 2.5 quiet systems with our 2.5 SE tips and I have one extra system with 100 cell catalysts and SE tips available and ready to ship, if anybody is interested.

Does anyone have more recent sound clips of the 2.5 quiet in car, or even outside? i know there are clips on youtube but some of them are like 10 years old! LOL surely the sound recordings now are much clearer. I'm really looking at getting this exhaust, but in Australia nobody seems to have one for me to hear in person.
