great advice and kudos to you and ANYone capable of making that home depot tester. it ISNT complicated but still beyond the scope and skill set of many. i believe markski at 911 tuning on 6spd makes/sells them and it's inexpensive enough to be a part of any resourceful and regular diy'r's toolkit. my buddy made his own and its his compressor i use if and when anyway......, but i would have one too if i personally could do anything with it.

That's the correct boost if the car has a tune. The stock amount is more like .7-.8 at WOT.

I don't think I ever saw 0.8 bar when my car was stock. My sustained boost was 0.6-0.7 bar (non-X50).

My car is stock K16 and I have seen 0.8 bar occasionally. Just saw it the other day.

I had only been seeing upto .6 bar. When I had the car in the shop for some new rads and water pump, my mechanic found some incorrectly connected air pipes and now my boost is sustained at .5 and .6 as well as finally seeing .7 today in fifth gear.

I agree .6 - .7bar, if you see a little more on K16s its probably altitude. Think solid .8's are for X50's or S versions.
