A quick poll on your exhaust
Not a discussion of which is best, just trying to get a feel of the number of owners with stock versus aftermarket systems.

I wish there was an exhaust that was as quiet as stock under 3,500RPM, but had a nice roar above that. Unfortunately, I don't think that is possible (without some kind of valving system). Most aftermarket exhaust systems are way too loud when driving normally at lower RPMs.

I have done something that is not listed.
I have a stock exhaust but I have modified it. It does just what dprantl wants, it is quiet below 3000rpm but louder after that. I drilled out a 3/4 hole just at final curl of exhaust pipe. It increases exit flow ever so slightly and really improves the sound.
There was a thread on it here a couple years back. It works like a charm.

I have had my Kline exhaust now for over 2 years and I never get tired of it, the sound is just incredible.

had a Milltek system-which I loved...but sold it to a friend a few weeks ago(probably a stupid move for me).
Currently running catted straight pipes which I love and hate; amazing when you're 'in the mode' but horrible for just driving around...will be modifying to control the intense drone

I "inherited" the aftermarket exhaust on my car and have had no luck with IDing it. Just bought a stock exhaust just to have it, but I'll be researching other aftermarket alternatives later this year.
