I do not know the story but I believe it's been for sale on Craig's List a few times over the past months...I never checked it out during my search as I didn't want a Tippy...

I've thought I saw it on CL before but now gone. Haven't had a Pcar for a while and started to look for one now. I'm not a big fan of Tip either, but the wifey doesn't drive the stick.

Be a lot of work to get that car to pass smog in Calif. Not too bad if the seller has all the stock parts.
