Default Porsche 6 piston Mono Block Brake Kit with 380mm Girodisc Rotors

This kit includes the FRONT 380 calipers and rotors AND Rear 350 calipers and rotors..
I have been waiting for almost a year for these rotors. Today I went up to Girodisc to pick up the first set of drop in 380mm rotors. Real quick these rotors weigh less than the factory 350mm steel rotors.

Porsche has manufactured new Yellow 6 piston monoblocks to fit these massive 380mm rotors. One can look at the 997TT with PCCB's and better yet test drive one to see how well these binder work.. The Girodisc rotor are as close to a direct copy of the 380mm PCCB rotors with features that include 72 cooling vanes (same as the factory PCCB's). The aluminum anodized hats are made for the Turbo 996TT and 997TT offset.

Pricing for this kit $7,995.00 which includes Porsche 6 Piston Yellow Monoblocks calipers for the front and matching Yellow Monoblock on the rear. Girodisc 380mm full floating rotor up front AND 350mm full floating rears (please note that the rears retain the factory E Brake).. Factory caliper adapters to fit the turbo uprights are included including the caliper mounting bolts.

Pads are not included due to the various options.

I'll post a few more pictures a bit later..

Our factory 18" rims will NOT fit the calipers and 380mm Girodisc rotors. A few companies do offer 18" rims that WILL fit. CCW Corsair series WILL fit 100%.. Most 19" rims will fit..

Sounds like a great kit Kevin! I might have to get it and give mine to my son for his 951 after i get the trans sorted out. I have CCW C14s I think they'll fit over about anything.

I've been running Girodiscs for about 2 years now (their 996TT drop-in kit). My 19" OZ Superleggera's have great clearance, no issues with 18" "turbo twist" either. I run Pagid yellows.

My pro driving coach told me at COTA that my car has the most impressive brakes he's ever seen. Very happy customer here.

Track season has begun. This is a awesome brake setup. Significant upgrade from the 350 kit!

No kidding!
Even if you're not tracking, the ability to slow from big speed with these is well worth it. I changed my engine and trans oil this evening and went for a little blast to get rid of some pad squeal...

Are these 380mm rotors usable with the 996 GT3 6pot pccb caliper? Or will it work on the 997 caliper only?

The rotors will NOT work with "any" 996 or 997 caliper running 350mm rotors.

Specific 380 PCCB calipers only.

Wow those are nice, and I thought the factory pccb’s on mine where nice. bit more than I need since I don’t track mine.
it would be interesting to see how much difference there is in stopping power.
Nice setup

Nice setup
Braking performance is strictly dependent on the friction coefficient of the tires and the road surface. As long as your car has the ability to engage ABS with the stock 330 brakes, the 350 or even 380 brakes will offer zero reduction in braking distance. It’s simple physics. Adding just the large front rotors actually reduces braking performance because it shifts brake bias further to the front which does not bode well with the programming of the ABS unit. You need to do all 4 corners to see any benefit and that benefit comes in the form of greater thermal mass and the ability to absorb more heat over repeated braking events as one would encounter under track use. Having effective cooling ducts is paramount to any track set up regardless of rotors size. The detriment of the large rotors is greater unsprung mass. Giros are excellent rotors by the way...
