Default X50 question

Does anyone know exactly what the X50 package includes? I've heard so many different answers.

I do know about the following, based on all the posts:
1) K24 turbos
2) GT2 intercoolers

I'm guessing it has an ECU difference.

I've read people's posts saying they think it also includes exhaust changes, transmission changes, suspension upgrades, etc. If any of those are true, what exactly did they change about them? I'm especially interested in the specs about the exhaust and suspension.

Thanks everyone!

Using Search will provide you with a lot of answers.

The X50 has the larger K24 turbo's, larger intercoolers for those larger turbo's, A remapped ECU, And some Transmission tweaks (either programming or improved mechanics) to help with the additional power.

Actually the IC aren't larger in terms of Volume.. The cooling fins extend past the internal cores roughly 3/16" The benefit is larger surface area..

The ECU mapping is different when compared to a K16 car. ECU's (electronics) are the same between cars. Simple answer is more boost, more load, fueling and limiters set higher..

I've heard they're a lot awesomer.

Love X50s on the used market. Can't imagine paying 18 bills for it new.

+3 on the no changes to the x50 cars transmissions. Mine popped out of 2nd as often as the "01"s did.

You'd think that Porsche would have an options detail sheet somewhere on Al Gore's internet? I can't find anything.

all it is, as noted above is the k24's, larger i/c's and the ecu remap and that's it for your $17,800.00 at build lol
